About us and why we need your support
Ideal for All is a user-led charity and social enterprise working to make life better for disabled, elderly and vulnerable people and their carers. Since we were established in 1996, we have supported over 23,000 people through our information, advice and support services.
Local authority and benefit cuts have severely impacted the people we work with. Essential services have been drastically reduced or stopped altogether which has the impact of driving more people into crisis. In recent years, we have seen the demand for our services go up but funds to deliver them go down.
That’s why we are looking at all the different ways we can plug gaps in services and prevent situations from occurring or worsening.

Charity of the Year
If your company has a Charity of the Year, please consider nominating Ideal for All.
Employee volunteering
Teams of staff can volunteer for Ideal for All by helping at our community garden sites or at our social events.Volunteering is great for team building and getting to know us and the people we support better.
Event sponsorship
Our events to help combat the social isolation that many disabled and vulnerable people can experience. Sponsoring our events means that we can offer exciting activities throughout the year and engage those most at risk of loneliness.
Payroll giving
Payroll giving is a simple and tax efficient scheme that allows your employees to regularly donate to a charity of their choice directly though their pay before tax which means a £5 donation will actually only cost your employees £4. Some employers also generously choose to match their employees’ donations.
Setting up a payroll-giving scheme in your organisation is straightforward and free of charge. You simply need to sign up with an approved Payroll Giving Agency who will process your employees’ donations and send the money to Ideal for All.
