Personal Assistant (SN)

Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

Job Ref:

Reporting to: Employer

Location: Merridale, Wolverhampton WV3

Rate of Pay: £9.00 per hour

Nature of the job role: 

Main Duties: To support a young lady in Merridale, allowing her to develop her independence skills and relationships with her peers.
Has a diagnosis of autism, moderate learning disabilities, and limited communication needs; she is able to use short sentences and pictorial images to express her basic needs.

Personal duties: Requires support and assistance with all aspects of her daily living needs.

Domestic duties: 

Social Duties: To support access to the community and engage in activities that promote her development.
However she can find it difficult when meeting new people or entering new environments she is not familiar with.


Hours of work: 25 hours per week, split 5 hours per day Monday - Friday

Skills & Experience:
Someone who is friendly, patient and supportive.  You should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care and should possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role. 
You should be hardworking, reliable, honest with a sense of humour and be committed to providing the best care.
