Job Title: Support Worker / Personal Care Assistant

Location: Wednesfield, Wolverhampton WV11

Rate of Pay: £9.00

Nature of the job role:
Supporting 2 young Boy’s with Autism and Learning Difficulties to access local amenities. Client has a happy, laid back disposition.

Main Duties:

Personal duties: Assisting with toileting

Domestic duties: Preparing snacks

Social Duties: To accompany and support on trips out to access local amenities; park, cinema etc.

Hours of work: 3 hours per week
Can be alternate Saturdays between 12.00pm and 4.00pm

Qualifications: Full clean driving licence

Skills & Experience: Someone who is friendly, patient and supportive and has experience of working with people who have Autism or severe learning disabilities is a preferred and an advantage. You should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care and should possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role. You should be hardworking, reliable, honest with a sense of humour and be committed to providing the best care. In return you will have the opportunity to practice your skills, keep up to date with professional development as any necessary training can be provided.

An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required, funded by the Local Authority. Car driver preferred but not essential
