Rate of Pay: £10.00/hr

Nature of the job role: Working as part of a team to assist with a variety of tasks which will support the client to live an independent personal life.

Main Duties:

Personal duties: Showering, washing, dressing, pad changes and general support

Domestic duties: Washing client’s clothes, general cleaning of client’s belonging and rooms. Preparation of all food and drinks, assisting with eating when required.

Social Duties: These vary from day to day depending on the client’s health. Interaction with the client, playing games, drawing and taking the client out for trips.

Hours of work: Potentially: Nightshifts 19:30 – 08:00, Dayshifts 08:00 – 19:30 this will include at least 1 day and 1 night per weekend

Qualifications: Level 2 NVQ, Diploma or higher in Adult Social Care preferred, but any necessary training will be provided.

Skills & Experience: Previous experience in moving and handling of people and especially a client with epilepsy is essential. Applicants must have very good clear spoken English due to the client’s medical conditions and the importance for clarity of understanding.
