Nature of the job role:

Main Duties:

SU has ADHD and suspected autism. Struggles with executive functions. She is looking for support

from someone experienced in working with neurodiversity.

Monday (3 hours, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Body-doubling, domestic reset, laundry cycles, and

administrative tasks.

Tuesday (3 hours, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Focused decluttering, routine maintenance, and task

initiation.

Wednesday (2 hours, 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM): Morning meal preparation, breakfast batch prep, and

kitchen clean-down.

Floating Support (2 hours weekly): Flexible support for community connection, attending occasional

evening/weekend events, or regular community activities (such as attending the local Food Share).

College Holidays & Half-Terms:

During college half-terms and holidays when daughter is home, would prefer flexibility to either shift

weekday hours to focus on community access/errands outside the house.

Core Focus & Mentoring Query:

The primary focus remains practical executive function support (body-doubling, proactive domestic

resets, and meal preparation) from someone who understands neurodivergence and doesn't require

constant micromanagement.

The floating 2 hours could be a different person, but ideally no more than 2 PAs so that they can get

to know needs.

Floating 2 hours:

SU would also find it immensely valuable if part of this time could include structured ADHD

mentoring or executive function coaching (e.g., banking 1 hour per week towards a fortnightly

session to review systems, routines, and unblock challenges).

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Genuine understanding of neurodivergence (ADHD and

Autism), executive dysfunction, and autistic/ADHD

burnout.

A calm, low-demand, grounded presence with strong

active listening skills (respecting quiet focus time and

knowing when to work companionably in parallel).

High initiative: Able to assess practical household

needs independently without requiring constant step-bystep

direction.

Reliable, punctual, and respectful of personal space and

household routines.

Enhanced DBS check (will be processed via Direct

Payments prior to starting work).

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

Experience in executive function mentoring, ADHD

coaching, or life-skills support.

Relevant qualifications in health/social care,

psychology, or neurodiversity support (e.g., NVQ Level

2+ or equivalent lived/work experience).

Car owner with a clean UK driving licence and

appropriate business use insurance (helpful for

community access and errands, but not strictly

essential).
