Having been made redundant from his role as a factory operative, Garry lacked confidence, especially with using computers to apply for jobs.

He initially attended our job club and was supported to develop his IT skills and is now able to email his CV and cover letter independently. Garry was also encouraged to attend our ‘Coffee and Chat’ sessions to build his social skills.

Through accessing employment support, Garry is now actively searching and applying for operative roles with little support. His confidence and optimism has increased greatly and he is much more comfortable in group settings.

Garry will continue to be supported with interview skills and accessing suitable training to enhance his skills and get back into employment.
