Through weekly job clubs, training courses, volunteering opportunities and wellbeing programmes, we support disabled and disadvantaged people to develop their skills, confidence, and CVs in order to find work or move closer towards securing employment.
Our support is tailored to each person’s needs and aspirations, designed to help them overcome barriers to work including providing information and guidance to employers and professionals relating to the employment of disabled people.

What we offer?
Our Employment and Skills service is free for disabled and disadvantaged people living in the Black Country who are unemployed and looking to move into work, further education, or training. If required, our team can provide high level learning support including access to specialist IT equipment and software. We will check that your benefits will not be affected by accessing our help.
Our experienced employment advisers will work with you on a one-to-one mentoring basis and in groups to assist you to achieve your goals. We will produce an action plan and support you through it. This may include help with:
- Exploring different career options, understanding your strengths and interests
- Creating a CV
- Job applications and interview techniques
- Arranging work experience and volunteering opportunities
- Basic skills courses in Literacy, Numeracy, and IT
- Personal development courses (assertiveness, confidence, anxiety management)
- Information on benefits
- Travelling to work sessions
- Opportunities to improve your independence, mental health and wellbeing
- Information on access to work (financial and equipment support for employers)
- On-going support to employers and disabled employees.

Ideal for All's Employment and Skills service is part funded by:
Black Country Futures - The aim of the Black Country Futures project (BCF) is to support people aged 16+ and although all inclusive, prioritises support to the most isolated and disadvantaged in the Black Country.
This includes over 50s, BAME, people with mental and physical health conditions and disabilities as well as people on zero hours contracts or at risk of redundancy. The project offers a multi-faceted approach to address individual needs in a holistic manner.
Support will include elements of social inclusion, volunteering, employment and skills development, healthy living, and support with benefits. Support will be through 1-1, small group face-to-face and digital sessions. This is not an exhaustive list. Visit website
