3x Horticultural Health and Wellbeing Officer

Hours:          37 Hours per week 

Salary:         £19647 - £21615 FTE per annum (Depending on experience)

We are looking to recruit for three “Horticultural Health and Wellbeing Officer”. Do you have horticultural skills? If you can also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with disabled/vulnerable people of all ages, we would welcome your application.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding attention to detail in planning and delivery of tailored health and wellbeing/engagement activities using horticulture (in community settings and across Ideal for All operational sites). You will be enabling people to take part in therapeutic and social horticulture (e.g. gardening, crafts, cooking/nutrition, engaging group activities, peer learning) interlinked through co-produced ‘peer-led’ support groups. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience of supporting people with additional needs or those who face barriers to participation.

This post is a fixed term post, with a potential for extension subject to review and funding. Please note that due to the volume of applications we receive we will only be able to contact candidates who have been selected for interview.
