National Inclusion Week

29-Sep-2021
Ideal for All has been at the heart of providing inclusive and accessible information and services for disabled people in Sandwell for the last 24 years. We promote and follow the Social Model of disability, ensuring people can access our services inclusively by ensuring we cater to their requirements. In turn, this allows individuals to participate fully on an equal level with all other people.

We ensure that our venues for events provide full accessibility to allow all people to attend. As an organisation, we provide information in alternative formats to enable everybody to access information in their preferred form. We also aim to provide accessible solutions through other mediums, such as BSL (British Sign Language), offering interpreters at significant events to individuals who are deaf.

Inclusivity is as much about attitudes as it is about providing physical access. We ensure our staff understand disability and functioning as advocates that ensure our events and services are open to all people.
