Job Description and Person Specification

Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA)
Job Ref: JI/CW/06/21 
Reporting to: Ideal for All on behalf of an Employer
Location: Uttoxeter, ST14
Rate of Pay: £10.20 per hour

Nature of the job role:
A Personal Assistant is required to support with Social Activities and accessing the community.

Main Duties: 
- Personal duties: To assist with toileting and personal care on longer days (if required).
- Domestic duties: Support with cutting up food and washing up and tidying after making food.
- Social Duties: When accessing the community, support will be required with budgeting, financial transactions and ensuring safety at all times.

Any other reasonable duties that may be necessary.

Hours of work:
The work hours are 16 hours per week (flexible) and can be banked to use later (e.g., 10 hours one week and 21 the next, instead of 16 each week). This must be agreed with the PA in advance.

Qualifications:
Moving and Handling of People. The use of a mobility vehicle is required, so a full UK driving licence is essential and experience of supporting people to enter and exit a vehicle would be preferred.

Skills & Experience:
The employer prefers an applicant with experience in supporting people and personal care. The employer is young adult male, so someone that is chatty and has similar interests is very important and it is a necessity that the PA can make the employer feel comfortable whilst supporting with Personal care.
