2021 update - If you are a member of Ideal for All and would like to nominate yourself as as trustee or find out more, don't hesitate to contact us on 0121 558 5555 (option 4). 

Ideal for All is proud to be a user-led organisation with an active membership of nearly 3,500 individuals who are listened to heard, engaged and represented in our vision, values and principles and in the way we design and deliver services to meet their needs.

Anyone who has an interest in disability and a commitment to the aims and objectives of Ideal for All can apply to become a member.

 

How to join

3. Fill out our simple membership form online

Membership rules

1. All members of the charity must abide by the rules and regulations of the charity. A copy of which is available from the Charity’s headquarters.
2. The charity must not be brought in to disrepute.
3. The board of directors can revoke membership at its absolute discretion. There is an appeals procedure, copies of which are available from the Charity’s headquarters. 
4. Membership is non transferable.
5. Membership entitles a member to:

  • A full voting right
  • Eligibility to stand for Trusteeship (subject to conditions)
  • Participate in the running of the charity

6. To maintain a majority of disabled people in the Charity membership preference will be given to membership applications from disabled people. 7. Conflicts of interest must be declared in writing.

 

Conditions

1. Staff of Ideal for All are not eligible for membership.

2. Members must inform the office of any changes in 
their circumstances. e.g Change of address.

3. Ideal for All reserve the right to amend the rules and conditions.
